One of the best things you can do to help your colon cleanse weight loss efforts to have their maximum effect on you is abide by common sense good nutrition guidelines. Nothing fancy here, just the obvious:

Avoid:

  • alcohol
  • cigarettes
  • coffee/caffeinated tea like black tea and to a lesser degree green and white tea too
  • carbonated drinks like soda pop, club soda, tonic water, and other soft drinks
  • dairy – that’s milk, cheese, ice cream, cream cheese
  • fried foods – especially deep-fried foods; especially fried foods that were already fatty before they were even fried
  • packaged snack foods like potato chips, popcorn, pretzels, corn chips, etc.
  • chocolate
  • granulated white sugar and foods like candy with granulated white sugar in it

Do consume:

  • fresh fruits and vegetables, including 100% fruit juices
  • lean meats and protein sources low in fat
  • unsaturated oils like olive oil, sesame oil, and such (think: salad dressings)
  • lots and lots of water

This is the recipe for a colon cleanse weight loss diet with maximum benefits.
